Ink Refill Kit
The purpose of this product is:
To significantly reduce printing costs, enable ink refilling and reuse, and promote environmental protection and cleanliness.
This product does not have the function of repairing defective ink cartridges. Before using this product to refill ink, please ensure that your cartridge is in good condition.
Possible issues you may encounter during using:
(Frequent updates)
If ink overflows, it means the cartridge is already full. Simply wipe off the excess ink—it won’t harm the printer. You can store the remaining ink bottle in its packaging for future use.
- For best results, refill the ink when the printer or computer shows a low ink warning.
- If the cartridge is in good condition but printed pages start showing light or missing lines, it’s time to refill.
- Please check whether you purchased the correct product model.
- The cartridge might be inserted in the wrong direction—rotate it 180° and try again.
Power banks have different output currents. If the output current is too low, the drill won’t start. Please connect it to a phone charger or a computer’s USB port instead.
You may have applied too much downward force. Lift the drill, restart it, and continue (avoid pressing down too hard while drilling).
- Did you drill holes in the cartridge before inserting?
- Is the needle cap reversed? Make sure the arrows on the cap and the base are aligned.
- For color cartridges, you must drill through all three holes at once.
- Check if the rear label is fully removed to ensure proper air intake.
- The cartridge might still contain sufficient ink.
- If neither of the above, slightly lift the needle cap by 1–2 cm until the ink starts flowing, then press it back down (the sponge inside may be blocking the ink and needs loosening).
No, sealing is unnecessary. Keeping the holes open allows better air circulation and ensures smooth printing.
Once the printer stops detecting ink levels, you can still refill and use the cartridge. The printer will no longer monitor ink levels, but you can continue printing by refilling as needed.
Please follow the on-screen prompts or refer to the user manual. If it still doesn’t work, the cartridge chip may be damaged. Try gently cleaning the chip contacts with an eraser to ensure proper connection, or replace the cartridge.
The cartridge chip reaches its end-of-life count after continued printing. Refer to the product guide or instructional video to reset or restore the cartridge chip to resume normal printing.
- Let the cartridge sit for at least 20 minutes to allow trapped air to escape.
- Press a paper towel gently against the printhead—if ink marks appear, the cartridge can print normally.
- Run the printer’s cleaning cycle until the nozzle test pattern is complete.
- Make sure you added each color to the correct hole as indicated on the refill cap. Mixing colors will cause severe color shifts and require a new cartridge.
- If the nozzle test pattern is abnormal, run the printer’s cleaning function until the printhead is restored.
Yes, but you still need to drill through all three holes. You can then refill only the color that’s low.
This indicates the printhead has reached the end of its lifespan. Over time, print quality naturally declines. To maintain high-quality printing, replace the cartridge.
The number of refill cycles depends on the printhead material and design:
- Original (never refilled): 6–9 times
- Original refurbished: 3–5 times
- New compatible cartridge: 2–3 times
