Printer Quick Installation Tool

Note: Mac and Linux do not have a quick installation tool, you can add a printer to the computer by IP address or hostname.

For Windows

System Requirements: Windows7/8/10/11

Applicable models: LK100W, LK300W, LK100EW, LK300EW

Note: When adding a printer, if the Quick Installation Tool cannot be downloaded or used, please add the printer with IP address or hostname manually.

Function:
1. Automatically detect print servers within the local area network, obtaining device information such as IP addresses and SN codes.
2. Automatically identify and download drivers matching the recognized printer models.
3. Automatically install the downloaded drivers.
4. Automatically associate with the print server port for quick printer addition.

Virtual USB Connect Tool

Applicable models: LK100EW, LK300EW

For Linux

System Requirements: Windows7/8/10/11, MacOS 12/13/14 (Note Microphones/webcams wont work on Mac)

Function:
1. Automatically identify print servers within the local area network, retrieve device information such as IP addresses and serial numbers (SN), and list connected devices on the print server.
2. Implement USB data cable insertion and removal through software.

Please try various search methods. Such as Canon G2260, the driver for G2260 is the same as G2060. You can search for Canon, G2260, 2260, G2060, 2060, etc. If the quick installation tool database does not have the corresponding model driver, you will need to manually install the printer driver on your computer.

After completing the scan, you need to disconnect the printer in the virtual USB connection tool before printing. This is because once the scanning function is connected, the printer behaves as if it were directly connected to your computer, occupying the shared printing function and preventing printing. Therefore, simply disconnecting the device in the connection tool will allow printing to proceed normally.
